Eating Breakfast

How many college students really eat breakfast in the morning? It can be very hard for college student to eat breakfast in the morning because they might not have time or it just too early for them to eat. In my case I think eating breakfast in the morning takes too much time so I never actually have time to eat something so I just walk out the door and eat later in the day. We have probably all heard that eating breakfast is the most important meal of the day. In my case I had heard it but never realized how important it really was until I started eating breakfast because it did make a difference for me.  I found an article that says that eating breakfast is a very important thing that everyone should be doing and especially if you’re a college student because eating breakfasts gives you the energy you need to start your day. Eating breakfast it’s important for us college students so we could concentrate in class and our body will have the energy it needs to stay focus and not go into starvation mode which will cause a distract for you because you will be feeling hungry. Also eating breakfast can be very important for those girls who are worried of gaining weight in college because in this article is says that by not eating breakfast it can cause you to eat more later in the day because you’re going to feel like your starving so you’re just going to eat anything you can. Also by not eating breakfast it can cause us not to make the best choices later on when we do eat because we feel super hungry that we get the unhealthiest food that we can find or the quickest which usually are unhealthy. But by eating breakfast we might make better choices because we won’t feel like we are starving.  Here I found some breakfast ideas for college students that are simple so eating breakfast wont be an issue anymore.

  1. I agree with you on the fact that I never used to eat breakfast first thing in the morning. I'm usually always in a rush so I used the excuse that I never had time. Since being in all these NTR courses, I've come to realize that breakfast is very important and I've also realized that when I do eat breakfast in the morning, I'm not hungry as often as I used to be when I didn't. On the days I chose not to eat breakfast, in the middle of class my stomach would start to rumble and soon after I would make decisions and just eat what was readily available, just to make my hunger do away. I know now that it is super important and I try to cook at home to save money and time. Very good blog. I looked at some of your breakfast ideas and will definitely try them out =D.

  2. This is a great topic, especially since it relates to what we are currently experiencing as college students. I have to admit that I am guilty of skipping breakfast a lot of the time just to sleep for five more minutes. The link to the breakfast ideas is great! It makes it easier for someone to try to change the behavior of skipping breakfast by having an idea of where to start. In my opinion, breaking the article into paragraphs and proofreading before posting it would have given your article more credibility and it would have also made it much better to follow.

  3. I think most of this blog's readers will definitely relate to your blog post, because the majority of us are college students but it is also beneficial to others. I have always heard that you gain weight when you start college but now I see where that connection comes from, the lack of breakfast combined with poor food choices. I, like tons of other college students, will admit that we have all skipped breakfast sometime during our academic careers. Personally, I have done it a lot, and I just recently started eating breakfast again and I can definitely feel the difference in my body. I am also less stressed and tend to eat healthier foods.

  4. I usually do not eat breakfast because I am not hungry early in the morning, not because I do not have time. However I have noted a drastic difference in how I feel the days I eat breakfast versus the days I do not. When I eat breakfast I am able to focus better and for longer periods of time. I also have more energy and complete tasks with more speed and ease. Its funny one day I felt really good and I was able to focus on my work without feeling tired or irritated. I honestly didn't know why I felt so good and then I remembered that I had eaten breakfast that morning unlike most mornings.
